Jon is the Managing Partner and founder of Cedar Square. Jon specializes in sourcing, capitalizing and managing commercial real estate assets. Jon has been involved on the principal side in over half a billion dollars of commercial real estate investments in the past 8 years. Ongoing projects and past investments include adaptive reuse, office, retail, multi-family apartments and management of over 1 million square feet of commercial real estate. Jon began his career with Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he worked in structured products focused on real estate, there he participated in all aspects of over $3 billion in commercial real estate debt obligations. Jon is a Charlotte native and graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he studied psychology and economics. Jon resides in Charlotte with his wife and two daughters.

Jack Spencer is a partner at Cedar Square, where he leads the company’s Commercial investment platform and focuses on acquiring retail, office, and mixed-use properties throughout the Carolinas. Over the course of his career, Jack has successfully overseen the acquisition and development of more than $200 million in commercial real estate. Jack's deep market knowledge, combined with his strong relationships with brokers, capital partners, and property owners, positions Cedar Square to access compelling investment opportunities.

Prior to joining Cedar Square, Jack was a principal at Dogwood Holdings, where he developed light-industrial properties in the Charlotte area. Jack holds a B.S. in Accounting from the College of Charleston and is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina.

Mac is a Partner at Cedar Square and leads the Retail Development and Investment platform. Throughout his 23 years of commercial real estate experience, Mac has participated in over $1.2B (2,500,000 SF) of commercial real estate projects across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast United States with a primary focus on Retail and Medical Office. Prior to Cedar Square, Mac was a Partner at Selwyn Property Group where he focused on Grocery Anchored, Multi-Tenant and STNL retail development and acquisitions. Mac also worked in development for Lauth Property Group and Crescent Communities.
Mac is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Urban Land Institute and the Charlotte Commercial Board of Realtors. Mac graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in North Carolina and South Carolina.
Mac resides in Charlotte with his wife and three kids.

Ben serves as an acquisitions and asset management associate covering both commercial and multifamily investments. He is responsible for sourcing new acquisitions, financial underwriting, as well as asset management. Additionally, Ben provides support for capital improvements and development projects. Ben also works closely with property management and partners to monitor asset progress and track asset business plans.
Prior to joining Cedar Square in 2023, Ben worked for IBM in Washington, DC as a Federal Consultant. There he served as the financial lead for multiple Department of Defense contracts.
Ben is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Business degree from Kenan-Flagler Business School. He is originally from Greensboro, NC, and is a volunteer for the American Heart Association

Paris Hackett is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, bringing over two years of dynamic experience in public relations. In her role as an Account Coordinator at Articulate, she played a pivotal role in developing and executing PR campaigns and innovative events that significantly enhanced brand awareness, reputation, and profitability within the wine and spirits sector.
Having recently returned to her hometown of Charlotte after her time in New York, Paris is now channeling her expertise into integrated campaigns in the real estate industry at Cedar Square.

Stephenie joined Cedar Square in 2024 and serves as the lead accountant. Stephenie assists with the financials across all Cedar Square properties.
